The 2020 Mirage has a 1.2-liter three-cylinder engine with the latest version of the Mitsubishi Innovative Valve timing Electronic Control. This is a variable valve-timing system that helps minimize exhaust emissions. The engine generates 78 horsepower and will get 74 pound-feet of torque, and all models have front-wheel drive. The base ES has a manual transmission, and the rest come with a continuously variable automatic transmission, which you can add as an option to the ES.

This fuel-efficient sedan will get you up to 36 miles per gallon in the city, 43 mpg on the highway, with a combined mpg of 36 with the CVT. Technology in the 2020 Mirage starts with a 7-inch touch screen, Bluetooth, a USB port, and a four-speaker stereo. All Mirage models also get an auxiliary input and an AM/FM radio. For an upgraded entertainment system, the LE has a 6.5-inch touch screen, Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. A Rockford Fosgate stereo system is an available option for most trims.

Every 2020 Mirage has seven air bags, includes side-impact air bags and a driver's side knee air bag. All Mirage models have a tire pressure monitoring system, active stability control, and traction control logic. Hill-start assist also comes standard along with a backup camera.
