The 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) is a modern vehicle with a refined look, lots of cabin comforts, excellent connectivity features, and great range. Its bold looks and excellent all-electric driving range help it stand out from the competition, and its range of standard features make it a great pick for drivers everywhere.
Introducing the 2025 Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV): Efficiency Without Compromise
Great All-Electric Driving Range
The Outlander PHEV lets you get great mileage, with a total driving range of 420. You can expect to drive 38 miles in all-electric mode before the battery goes from full to flat. This is close to the average number of miles the average American drives in a day, and it’s a better all-electric range than multiple close competitors have got.
Quick Charging Times
If your car battery is completely dead, then it’ll take approximately 6.5 hours to get it fully charged using an at-home charger. If you’re using a DC fast charger, then you can expect to get your battery back to 80% charge in just under 40 minutes, so you could plug into a public charging station and get the battery charged up while you’re running an errand or two.
Comfortable Cabin
The adjustable front seats in the Outlander PHEV let you get comfortable easily. The SE trim and up have an 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, and there’s a memory function for this seat in the higher trims. Every trim has power lumbar support for the driver.
Massaging seats for the driver and front passenger are available, too. Heated front seats are standard in every model, while heated rear seats are available on higher trims. Higher trims also offer a heated, leather-wrapped steering wheel and leather-appointed seating surfaces.
Excellent Connectivity
You’ll find an 8-inch infotainment display in the Outlander PHEV’s base model, while the other trims have a 9-inch display with built-in navigation. Both versions of the display have Android Auto, while the larger display has wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. There’s one USB-C and one USB-A input in the front for charging phones and plugging in devices with media on them, and the SE and up have a USB-C and USB-A in the rear, too.
Fantastic Safety Features
With the Rearview Camera in the base trim and Multi-View Camera System in the rest, you can easily keep an eye on obstacles behind the car. Forward Collision Mitigation with Pedestrian Detection helps keep you aware of potential hazards, and Rear Automatic Emergency Braking helps protect you from hazards to the rear of the car. Rear Cross Traffic Alert, Lane Departure Warning, Driver Attention Alert, and Blind Spot Warning also help boost your safety.
