Mirage ES vs Toyota Yaris in Springdale, AR
Why choose the Mitsubishi Mirage ES?
Subcompacts cars are great for people looking for an inexpensive vehicle. Toyota and Mitsubishi are great car makers. Here's what you should know about their subcompact models.
Build and Design
The 2020 Yaris Hatchback comes with standard 16-inch dark gray split-spoke alloy wheels, a sporty front fascia with gloss-black mesh-pattern grille, and color-keyed door handles and heated side mirrors (with LED turn signal indicator). The Mitsubishi Mirage ES is small, sleek, and easily maneuverable, with 14-inch steel wheels, body-colored side mirrors, front and rear bumpers, and door handles. Also included are folding mirrors with an available rear bumper and tail garnish.
Power and Performance
The Mirage ES features a 1.2-liter three-cylinder which makes 78 horsepower and 74 pound-feet of torque. This engine is paired to a five-speed manual transmission. The Yaris Hatchback LE comes standard with a 1.5-liter four-cylinder engine which is paired to a six-speed automatic transmission to make 106 horsepower and 103 pound-feet of torque. Four-wheel drive is standard with a sport-tuned electric power steering for a smooth ride. Normal and sports driving mode are available.
Comfort and Security
The 2020 Mitsubishi Mirage ES has an impressive array of comfort and safety features. It seats five people on fabric-trimmed seats in an air-conditioned interior. A power outlet and USB charging ports with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capability are also standard. Safety features mirror those on the Yaris — LATCH system, air bags, and tire pressure monitoring system. The Mirage adds an anti-theft system for extra protection. If you're looking for a sleek, affordable option, the Mitsubishi Mirage ES is for you.
