2020 Mitsubishi Outlander

Mitsubishi’s 2020 lineup of crossover SUVs makes finding your next adventure-ready vehicle a breeze. There are three to choose from: the Outlander, Outlander Sport, and the Eclipse Cross. Here are some highlights of each model to help you choose your next Mitsubishi crossover.

Outlander

If you’re on the hunt for a crossover SUV that can handle what you and your family’s busy schedules throw at it, check out the 2020 Mitsubishi Outlander. This crossover is Mitsubishi’s largest SUV, with seats for up to seven passengers in three rows. When you need more cargo room than passenger space, lay the third row flat to open up your cabin for longer and more gear.

The Outlander can be equipped with an intelligent all-wheel-drive system that helps your confidence as you drive through rain and snow. The available ECO driving mode helps you increase the Outlander’s fuel efficiency. The dashboard’s smart screen is compatible with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which let you connect your crossover to your phone for a hands-free, entertaining experience.

Under the 2020 Outlander’s hood, you’ll find the Mitsubishi SUV lineup’s strongest engines: either a 166-horsepower four-cylinder engine or a 224-horsepower V-6 engine. The new Outlander is also available with a hybrid powertrain.

Outlander Sport

The 2020 Outlander Sport is a fantastic option for drivers who want the style and features of the Outlander without the size. This crossover is the shortest of Mitsubishi’s SUVs, which makes it more ideal for maneuvering through busy city streets.

In addition to plenty of exciting interior features, such as a phone-friendly touch screen and available heated front seats, the Outlander Sport also has access to awareness-boosting driver-assist technologies. Stay safer on the road with the available forward collision mitigation system, lane departure warning, and automatic high beams.

The new Outlander Sport is equipped with either a 148-horsepower 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine or a 168-horsepower 2.4-liter four-cylinder engine. With the stronger engine, the Outlander out-tows Mitsubishi’s other SUVs. Properly equipped, the Outlander Sport can tow up to 3,500 pounds.

Eclipse Cross

The 2020 Eclipse Cross is Mitsubishi’s mid-range crossover in terms of size. This crossover was designed with the adventurer in mind, with a fresh, recognizable style, an available dual-pane panoramic sunroof, and plenty of tech features to keep you entertained and connected when you’re on the go.

Opt for an Eclipse Cross equipped with Mitsubishi’s advanced Super All-Wheel Control system, which improves the crossover’s handling and traction in rougher terrains and on slippery roads. Throw in the futuristic head-up display that projects important information above your steering wheel and the premium nine-speaker Fosgate sound system to make your SUV one of the most modern on the road.

The 2020 Eclipse Cross is powered by a 1.5-liter turbocharged four-cylinder engine that produces 152 horsepower and 184 pound-feet of torque.
