The hotel has many modern features like an LCD flat screen TV and an iHome in each room. This hotel is also a great place for those on retreats, as there are 66,000 square feet of meeting space available. Up to 4,000 people can be accommodated here, and the catering staff will help with any food or drinks to be served. Hiking is an available option nearby at Devil's Den State Park where you can spend the day exploring the beautiful Ozarks. Fairfield Inn & Suites Springdale This hotel is newly renovated and is great for couples and families alike. The indoor pool is a hit with children, while adults enjoy lounging in the sun on the patio. Each suite has a large living area, LCD TV, and plush bedding. The fitness center is open 24 hours a day and has free weights, a treadmill, bicycle, and Stairmaster available to use. The Fairfield Inn & Suites Springdale has a free breakfast that includes eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, and waffles, to name a few. There are several nearby restaurants, including MarketPlace Grill and Cracker Barrel Old Country Store. It's a regular stop for many locals on their lunch hour and, after just one visit, you'll know why. Try the delicious beef tacos with chopped onion, guacamole, and fresh cilantro, or try the whole fish which is fresh and perfectly prepared. more Mariscos Playa Azul The Food at Mariscos Playa Azul is simply amazing. This restaurant is best known for its decadent seafood dishes, which are mouthwateringly good and still affordable. Try the shrimp enchiladas, and take in in the vibrant, colorful ambiance. Los Bobos Taqueria We know that Los Bobos is technically in Fayetteville, but once you eat there you'll know why we had to put it on this list. Note that they only take cash, so plan accordingly. Don Pedros If you're a taco fan — and let's face, who isn't? — Don Pedros is the place for you. Try the polo or carnitas tacos. If you're on a budget, go to Don Pedros on Taco Tuesday when all tacos are only $1. The food is always fresh, and the staff is always attentive. Taqueria Juanajuato is one of the best Mexican food restaurants in the area. There is something about Mexican food that is downright addicting, but it's in a good way. MarketPlace Grill MarketPlace Grill has two locations, including one on 48th Street in Springdale. This restaurant has been serving locals and visitors since it opened its doors in 1995. Start your meal with an appetizer, such as an order of Chicago-style spinach dip, served with chips, salsa, and sour cream, some crispy jalapeno cheese fritters, or Asian-inspired lettuce wraps. On the lighter side, the soup and salad menu includes several options, or you can pick one of the wood-fired pizzas, made with a homemade crust. more If you're there for the steak, you won't be disappointed. All steaks and prime rib are aged USDA-grade beef, trimmed and hand-cut in-house. Scott Family Amazeum Unlike a traditional museum, the Scott Family Amazeum is specifically designed to amaze and inspire children. With 50,000 square feet of exhibit and educational space, kids can explore the world around them, learn more about science and nature, and enjoy a fun and positive learning environment. The purpose of the museum is to evoke a sense of discovery and curiosity through hands-on activities. more The please-touch exhibits include the General Mills Lift, Hershey's Lab, a marketplace, the 3M Tinkering Hub, Load and Haul, a Nickelodeon Play Lab, and Nature Valley Water Amazements. When the weather is pleasant, spend some time in the acre of outdoor space, which provides a stunning backdrop for additional learning opportunities and experiments. Scott Family Amazeum is located on Museum Way in Bentonville and has dedicated spaces for younger kids as well as older kids. It is open on Mondays and Wednesdays through Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays from 1 to 5 p.m. Shiloh Museum of Ozark History If you're interested in learning more about the Springdale area, pay a visit to the Shiloh Museum of Ozark History. Some of the permanent exhibits include Prehistoric People, Ozark Folklife, Historic Native American: The Osages and The Cherokees, and those focused on specific periods in the area's history. The museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and admission is free. Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art The Crystal Bridges Museum of American Art welcomes all who want to celebrate the American spirit in a setting that combines the beauty of nature with the power of art. Through late April, the Soul of a Nation exhibit focuses on art in the age of black power. Upcoming exhibits include pieces from Georgia O'Keefe and Native American artists. Admission to the museum is free, although there may be an additional charge for certain exhibits. The building is especially stunning, designed by world-famous architect Moshe Safdie. Along with the exhibits, the property includes two spring-fed ponds, a glass-enclosed gathering hall, a bridge overlooking the ponds, and a library with over 50,000 materials about art. Take a stroll along some of the walking trails to view sculptures and other pieces of art. With so many fascinating things to see and explore, these museums are well worth a visit.
